The US Energy Storage Monitor explores the breadth of the US energy storage market. This quarter's release includes an overview of updates in the US energy storage market, with new deployment data from Q2 2020. It includes key trend analysis for policy landscape, system price trends, VC investments, M&A, vendor activities and deployments across residential, non-residential and front-of-the-meter segments. The report culminates in a market outlook through 2025. Total US energy storage deployments hit 288.1 MWh in Q2 2020, up 38% quarter-on-quarter and up 72% year-on-year. Stay-at-home orders imposed by governors and mayors have not significantly impacted the deployment of energy storage systems in Q2 2020. The non-residential market segment saw the only quarterly decline in deployments, down 6%, but it was up 29% year-on-year. The FTM market grew by 400% quarter-on-quarter and the residential market recorded its fifth straight record quarter.
