Commodity Market Report
Global product markets weekly: Margins tumble on surging crude price
Report summary
For the week commencing 19 March, refinery margins fell in all regions except in the US. US margins were supported by stronger middle distillate and gasoline cracks, plus a wider differential between US crudes and Brent. Weekly stock levels for gasoline, middle distillates and residual fuel oil in the US, NW Europe, Japan, Singapore and the Middle East are expected to have rebuilt as refinery maintenance programmes ease.
