TotalEnergies (TTE) announced the divestment of its Brazilian retail portfolio in October 2024. This came only a short time after divestments in the Benelux, Germany and Pakistan. The French major chose to retrench its retail business to the core and focus on markets where it has a competitive advantage – mainly France and Africa.
