Commodity Market Report
Iran product markets long-term outlook H1 2019
Report summary
Iran is actively investing in its refining sector which will materially impact its refined product balances; Historically Iran has relied on imports of gasoline and diesel/gasoil to meet domestic needs however, looking ahead, demand should be better met by local sources. We forecast Iran to continue to require gasoline imports and to have a growing distillate surplus, as a number of refinery projects come to market.
