Report summary
This latest version 9 continues to build on our commitment to help our customers navigate the energy transition. We have made the following improvements to PetroPlan in version 9: • Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) - enhanced refinery Net Cash Margin (NCM) and emissions analysis for sites operating CCUS • Electrolysers - four unique electrolyser submodels (AWE, (P)AWE, PEMWE, & SOEC) generate hydrogen using power. Hydrogen can be directly supplied to the refinery and/or exported • Emissions Tuning - CO2 source-specific emission tuning factors improve the accuracy of emissions accounting through site-specific calibration against verified emissions data • Improved Residue Hydrotreater model - improved sulphur handling calculations for better accuracy • Crude and feedstock assay library review
