Almond Wamsutter tight gas unconventional play
Report summary
The late Cretaceous Almond formation is the predominant reservoir in the Wamsutter field, a giant tight gas resource in the Greater Green River Basin of Wyoming. What we refer to as the Almond-Wamsutter Play also includes the Ericson, Blair, and Rock Springs reservoirs within the Mesaverde Group. The play is estimated to hold 77 tcf of gas-initially-in-place (GIIP), of which 26% is expected to be recoverable. The field is currently dominated by BP but Anadarko and Devon also hold...
