The Lower Cretaceous-aged formations in East Texas between the Buda and Glen Rose present an oil-bearing, 427 metre-thick (1,400 feet) series of unconventional targets ranging between 2,590-3,780 metres (8,500-12,400 feet) deep.  Firms who already hold acreage in the shallower Woodbine could find the Buda-Rose play to provide additional upside to existing Woodbine (synonymous with Eaglebine) positions, which lies below the well-established Eagle Ford formation...
