25 de Mayo-Medanito Río Negro and Jagüel de los Machos Río Negro are two mature conventional oil and gas fields located in the central Neuquina basin.Both fields straddle the Rio Negro/La Pampa provincial border. The La Pampa province licenses expired in 2016, while the Rio Negro province granted a ten-year extension for both concessions.
