Aasta Hansteen
Report summary
The Aasta Hansteen development is located 125 kilometres north of the Norne field in the Norwegian Sea in water depths of around 1,300 metres. The project includes the Luva, Snefrid Nord, Snefrid Sør and Haklang fields. Luva was discovered in 1997 but was not developed due to the technical and commercial challenges in this remote area of the Norwegian Sea.
