The Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADOC) is a consortium of companies of which Japan's Cosmo Oil is the largest shareholder. It operates four shallow water fields located offshore Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. A new 30-year licence was granted in 2011, allowing production through to 2042. As part of the extension, the Hail oil field was included in the licence, with first oil achieved in 2017.
