Aguas Blancas is a light oil field located to the south of La Cira-Infantas, one of Colombia's most prolific oil producing areas. Little activity has taken place at Aguas Blancas since initial wells were drilled in the 1960's. Since 2015, Parex Resources took operatorship and has been implementing a pilot water-flooding project.
