Caspi Neft, a private E&P company, operates the Airankul oil field in west Kazakhstan. Production peaked at around 19,000 b/d in 2021Airankul was commissioned in 2000, but output remained low until the 2010s. Most production comes from Jurassic horizons, which contain light non-viscous crude.
