Alba
Report summary
The Alba oil field is located in the UK Central North Sea, 200-kilometres northeast of Aberdeen. It was discovered in 1984 and brought onstream in 1994.Phase 1 comprised a single steel platform and a floating storage unit (FSU) on the northern part of the field. In the second phase, the southern area was accessed via a subsea tie-back to the main platform.
