The Alwyn Area, 440-kilometres north-east of Aberdeen, was brought onstream in November 1987. The area comprises several oil, gas and gas/condensate accumulations: Alwyn North, Alwyn East, Dunbar, Ellon, Forvie North, Grant, Jura, Islay, and NUGGETS (Northern Underwater Gas Gathering Export and Treatment System).
