Anchor is a large oil and gas field located in the southern portion of the Green Canyon protraction area in the US Central Gulf of Mexico. The field was discovered by Chevron in December 2014, and was Chevron's second Paleogene discovery in 2014, after Guadalupe (KC 10). The reservoir is ultra-high-pressure, one which requires production equipment with 20-kpsi operating pressure capabilities.
