The Salmanovskoye (Utrenneye) gas condensate field is located on the remote Gydan Peninsula in northern West Siberia. The field will provide feedstock for the 18.3 mmtpa Arctic LNG 2 project being developed by NOVATEK. This is the second large scale LNG project led by NOVATEK after Yamal LNG.The Arctic LNG 2 project envisages installation of three gravity based structures (GBS) in the Ob Bay and constructing an LNG plant on these platforms.
