The Area Magallanes block is an important asset operated by ENAP Sipetrol. Located in the Santa Cruz province, the licence incorporates six fields, which produce via five platforms. This analysis also incorporates the Poseidón field. The field ceased production in December 2010 and studies are underway to assess the viability of reactivating the field.
