Report summary
A mature producer, with output in decline - Austria currently produces around 20,000 boe/d, split almost evenly between liquids and gas. This is less than half of production in 2010. Output peaked in the late 1970s, with a rebound in the 2000s thanks to operations at the large Höflein field.
