Report summary
The Babbage gas field was developed using a not-normally-manned (NNM) platform, tied back via the West Sole infrastructure 28 kilometres to the south. It was developed in two phases using five horizontal platform wells. Gas from Babbage is transported via West Sole to the Dimlington terminal facilities. Production started in 2010 and the field is now mature and expected to cease by the end of the decade.
