Badami is the easternmost producing field in the North Slope. It is adjacent to Mikkelsen Bay, approximately 55 kilometres to the east of the Prudhoe Bay field. The field was discovered in April 1990 and commercial production began in August 1998. The field initially included six production wells and two gas injectors.
