The Baeshiqa licence is located in the northern part of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Erbil.Exploration drilling began in 2019, resulting in two significant discoveries on the licence: Baeshiqa and Zartik. Flow testing from these discoveries yielded a total of 15,000 barrels of light and medium oil.
