Report summary

Bashneft, a subsidiary of Rosneft since 2016, holds most of its assets in Bashkortostan, where it originated from in the 1920s. Bashneft also operates a few licences in West Siberia as well as the Trebs and Titov project in Timan-Pechora which is covered in a separate report. Originally named Bashneftekhimkombinat, the company was the number one producer in the USSR in 1954, producing 261,000 b/d.
