The onstream Bir Seba oil and gas development is located in southeast Algeria, around 100 kilometres north of the giant Hassi Messaoud oil field. It is operated by a Joint Venture of PetroVietnam, PTTEP and Sonatrach. Three fields have been discovered on the acreage: Bir Seba, Mouiat Oulad Messaoud (MOM) and HBHJ.
