The Bir Rebaa (403) development is in the Berkine Basin, Eastern Algeria and operated by an Eni-Sonatrach joint venture. In the early 1990s the Bir Rebaa North (BRN), West (BRW) and South-west (BSW) fields were discovered, and production began via a central processing facility (CPF) in 1995.The fields originally only produced oil and gas was re-injected.
