Block 15 is located 120 kilometres offshore Angola in deepwater. ExxonMobil operates the block and is partnered with Azule Energy, Equinor and Sonangol P&P.The Kizomba C development area is located in the east side and shallower part of Block 15. It was carved out in 2006 and comprised of the Mondo, Saxi and Batuque fields. This is the fourth development project on Block 15 after Xikomba (now ceased), Kizomba A and Kizomba B.
