Block 3/05 and Block 3/05A are in shallow water in the Lower Congo basin, 50 kilometres offshore. Block 3/05 consists of eight mature producing fields: Bufalo, Cobo, Impala, Impala SE, Oombo, Pacassa, Palanca and Pambi. Block 3/05A includes three fields that are expected to be developed: Gazela, Caco and Punja.The acreage today is an amalgamation of several historical licences. It was originally developed by Elf (now TotalEnergies) but is now operated by the national oil company Sonangol. ...
