Report summary
Eni, in partnership with TotalEnergies, operates several giant undeveloped gas fields on Block 6 in the ultra-deep waters of Cyprus' Eastern Mediterranean sector. There have been three discoveries on the block to date: Calypso in 2018, and Cronos and Zeus in 2022. Total gas in place across the three discoveries is estimated at around 9 tcf. In July 2026, Eni and TotalEnergies took FID on Cronos, making it Cyprus' first upstream project. The project will be developed with just a two-year lead time from FID to start-up in....
