Located in the Northcentral region of the prolific Oriente basin, Block 60 (Sacha) is the largest oil field in Ecuador. It accounted for approximately 18% of the national total oil output in 2023, playing a key role in the country's oil supply alongside Shushufindi-Aguarico and Block 43 (ITT).
