Report summary
Blocks 05-1b & 05-1c are located in the Nam Con Son Basin, 280 km southeast from the Vung Tau town and 15 km southeast of the Dai Hung field in Block 05-1a. The PSC was awarded to Idemitsu (operator) and partners JX Nippon Oil & Gas and Teikoku Oil (subsidiary of Inpex) in 2004. Idemitsu discovered the Dai Nguyet field in October 2010 and the Sao Vang field in 2014.
