Bpx Energy is the US Lower 48 subsidiary of BP. The company has a long history across many Lower 48 basins, and in 2018, made a major acquisition of BHP’s onshore US assets. Since this acquisition, bpx Energy has made a several divestments and now focuses exclusively on Texas and Louisiana in the Delaware, Eagle Ford and Haynesville plays.
