Buckskin (KC 872) is a large oil field in the southeast corner of the Keathley Canyon protraction area in the Central Gulf of Mexico. The closest infrastructure to the field is Lucius, which is located 13 kilometres (8 miles) to the southeast. Appraisal work at the project was completed in November 2014 and FEED commenced in late-2014. A PHA agreement with the Lucius facility was announced in early-2015. An FID decision to develop the first phase of the field was achieved in early 2017. ...
