Burgos Basin-Olmos
Report summary
The Olmos block lies in the north west of the Burgos basin, to the north of the Corindón-Pandura block. Its location is relatively remote, 75 kilometres north of the Pandura field. Hidalgo is the only field in the block.Lewis Energy's investment has been on exploration. Seven wells have been drilled in the block. Production commenced in March 2009. Current output is very low. Prior to its award to Lewis Energy, Pemex had only drilled one well.
