Asset Report
California Resources - US West Coast
Report summary
California Resources Corporation is an independent oil and gas producer that operates exclusively in California. The company was formed in 2014 when integrated oil firm Occidental Petroleum spun off its California business. California Resources is the largest hydrocarbon producer in California and holds by far the largest land position in the state at over 2.2 million net acres. After focusing on the minimisation of base production decline over the last three years, the company has re-entered growth mode in response to higher oil prices.
