Clearwater stepping out and upping production
Report summary
The Clearwater play in central Alberta has expanded beyond the original core development areas and players. Regional step outs to the northwest and southeast have added significant acreage positions and consolidation has taken place, primarily by Tamarack Valley and Baytex. Production has shot up, pushing above 60,000 b/d, with no signs of slowing down and the piloting of waterfloods will push for further upside.
