Report summary

CNPC has operated the Ai-Dan Munai oil fields since 2005. It initially consisted of two legacy fields, Arisskoye and Blinovskoye, in the South Turgai basin in central Kazakhstan. The operator's extensive E&A activity resulted in five smaller oil discoveries. Most of these satellites are being developed.The fields are located close to other CNPC upstream assets and infrastructure, notably those operated by the part-owned PetroKazakhstan and Kazgermunai subsidiaries.
