CNRL Kirby
Report summary
The Kirby project is situated in the Athabasca oil sands region of Alberta, around 160 kilometres south of Fort McMurray and 85 kilometres northeast of Lac La Biche. Kirby will be developed using Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) technology. CNRL received regulatory approval for the first phase of development at Kirby South in Q3 2010.
