Report summary
Coconut is an offshore gas field located on the southeast coast of Trinidad. It belonged to bpTT, a joint venture comprising BP (70%) and Repsol (30%), which discovered the field in 2005. In 2024, bpTT partnered with EOG Resources Unlimited (EOG) to develop the field, with a 50% interest each. The joint venture took the final investment decision (FID) in the same year, and first production is expected in 2027.
