Report summary
Cognac (MC 194) was the first field developed in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Although the water depth of the discovery well is less than 400 metres (1,312 feet), the field is considered to lie in the deepwater as the maximum water depth of at least one of the unitised blocks for the field is greater than 400 metres (1,312 feet).
