Crescent Point is no stranger to the deal market. The Calgary-based company has made 52 acquisitions since 2003, spending over US$16 billion. For a period, Crescent Point consolidated positions throughout Saskatchewan and still remains the province's second largest producer. With well inventory in those plays increasingly finite, the company has more recently moved west acquiring new positions over the last two years in the Duvernay and Montney marquee plays.
