Report summary
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has a small and very mature upstream industry. The country started producing oil in 1975 and peaked at 33,500 b/d in 1985. Output has since fallen to less than 24,000 b/d from 13 fields located both onshore and offshore in the Lower Congo Basin. Perenco operates all DRC production.
