Report summary
Didon is an oil field located offshore, five kilometres west of the Libyan maritime border in the Gulf of Gabes. Elf Aquitaine (now Total Energies) discovered Didon in 1976, but despite subsequent appraisal drilling the field was considered uneconomic at that time.
