The Dorotea Area is located in Colombia's Llanos basin. The block produces from the Dorotea A, Dorotea B, and Dorotea E fields. In 2010, Sinopec acquired Hupecol's Llanos basin blocks, including the Dorotea Area, for US$281 million. Prior to Sinopec entering the Dorotea Area, Hupecol used two rigs for their drilling campaign. Wells are shallow, at roughly 1,800 metres, and take seven to ten days to drill. We do not anticipate further exploration on the block
