Report summary

Embla is an oil and gas field located to the south of the Ekofisk Area and to the northwest of Valhall in the southern part of the Norwegian North Sea. The field was discovered in 1988 and has been developed via a satellite wellhead platform tied back to the Eldfisk field. Embla was the first high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) development in the area. As the Eldfisk facilities are being replaced re routing of the Embla flowlines will be required around 2015.
