The Elgin and Franklin Area includes the ultra high pressure-high temperature (uHP/HT) Elgin, Franklin, West Franklin and Glenelg fields. The fields lie 240 kilometres east of Aberdeen in the Central Graben of the North Sea. Elgin Franklin Area is a core production hub for TotalEnergies UK.This area of the Central Graben contains the highest concentration of HP/HT gas/condensate fields in the North Sea and lies close to Shell's Shearwater field.
