Eni to acquire BP's Algerian gas fields

Eni has agreed to acquire BP's Algerian gas fields: In Amenas and In Salah. BP holds 45.89% and 33.15% interests respectively. Both areas are operated by joint ventures co-owned with Sonatrach, Algeria's national oil company, and Equinor. No consideration for the sale has been disclosed.
