Algeria LNG - Algerian National Grid
Report summary
Algerian gas production is underpinned by the giant Hassi R'Mel field, which along with other Sonatrach operated fields including Rhourde Nouss and Ohanet provides around two thirds of national supply. The balance is produced from ventures in conjunction with international oil companies (IOCs).Hassi R'Mel is entering decline and managing and offsetting the impact of this decline is one of Sonatrach's largest challenges.
