EPSA Area A, formerly known as Block 82, is located onshore in Libya's Sirte Basin, 60-kilometres east of the Bu Attifel field. Eni has developed eight fields on the block.Production began in 1984 and peaked in the late 1990s. Although production is currently in decline, the acreage retains some exploration upside, and existing fields have the potential to produce at higher rates through artificial lift.In 2008, Eni signed an agreement with NOC to extend its existing contracts in Libya. ...
