Prio (former PetroRio) operates the modest-sized Frade and Wahoo oil fields in the northern Campos basin. Petrobras discovered Frade in 1986, but its deepwater location and heavy oil content delayed development for over 20 years.In 1998/1999, Petrobras farmed out the project to foreign and private companies.
