Block G5/43, located off the south-eastern coast of Thailand, contains a number of oil fields including Songkhla, Songkhla C (Bua Ban), Songkhla D (Bua Ban North A) and Songkhla E (Bua Ban North B), G and H. First production from the Songkhla field was achieved in February 2009 and the larger Bua Ban oil field was brought onstream in July 2010.
