Gazpromneft has announced its purchase of a 9.8% stake in SeverEnergia from NOVATEK for US$980 million, thus equalising the companies' ownership (50:50). This is the fourth in a series of big transactions involving SeverEnergia since September 2013, all of which placed a value of around US$10 billion on the assets.
